Hmmmm thanks for that thought Paulo... sometimes you get a surprise. A good friend had suggested I go beyond my regular practices and test a whole new world. I didn't exactly leap at the challenge like I once may have, but I wandered in.
I'll go with Paulo's suggestion above and skip trying to capture the emotion that I experienced. It was significant, but words don't do it justice. So, what I can say in words, is that I needed few words to explore this whole new world of perception. So thanks to a bit of a shove in the right direction from a good mate, I discovered new ways to know things about other people that has little need for verbal feedback in either direction (and we weren't even touching!). The emotional reality was clear enough. The story remained within the heart, but I still heard.
You can imagine in my professional world where words are my 'bread and butter' (and my personal interest in reviewing experience in detailed interesting dialogue) that this new experience with virtually no words was fascinating.
Too cryptic? I know I'll be talking more about this experience... maybe not the emotion, but certainly some of the impacts. The short story is it's about noticing energy imbalances and deliberate focus in an attempt to re-balance energy.
I tested my new skills with all three offspring a couple of nights ago, and (if you have read any of my other random thoughts about offspring below) you won't be surprised to know that I was surprised, again, by their responses (I need a new word - serendipity comes close enough for now). Middle size teens reaction was amazing. I knew he was sensitive, but his response blew me away.
